Q got a film scanner. Now he, too, will have photos from the 1950s. His life will look old and rooted in the past through glorious black and white.

There are some really good songs on Pandora's Hipster Christmas station. Try it out if you have Pandora. It has reconnected me to some of the music of my not too distant past.
If you don't like hipsters, I'm sure there is a Heavy Metal Christmas station as well. No, not sure. I haven't looked. I don't even have Pandora, but I will set it up soon.
Who, I wonder, was this woman? Does she still inhabit the city some fifteen years hence? What does she do? Children? A husband or wife?
No, I don't really wonder. I am not that interested. This is her, this is it. She will cross the street in her beautiful blurry way forever, unknowable, untouchable. I ache with the knowledge.
