Bin Laden has been killed in a "mansion" in Pakistan.  Americans act as though it is a sporting event, chanting and cheering--"U-S-A, U-S-A."  There is flag waving and high-fiving.  It is a historic day, but I can't do all that.

This is the first day of non-publishing the blog.  I was going to begin working on a print journal, but didn't. I am ill and don't feel up to much.

I quit drinking yesterday.  Let's see how that goes.

So Long for Now

Look for Me in June

It is May Day, I've realized, and I am spent.  I will go away for awhile and have my breakdown privately.  I must have the month off.  Wish me luck.

Blue Manhattan

I'll go back to NYC in a couple weeks.

I'm crazy depressed and must shake these blues.  Sometimes New York helps.  Sometimes it makes it worse.  The amount of money I spend definitely doesn't help.  Even the cheap hotels are expensive right now.  I'll probably stay at The Pod Hotel.  I went to Ikea yesterday to prepare myself.  I'm already depressed, though, that the hotel's website no longer has music.  It used to play very hip stuff.  So I'm already a bit gloomy.  Funny that things like this can effect me so.  Everything tarnishes.  Everything stains.  Me, too.

Maybe not.  I just checked reviews and read that the Pod now has bed bugs.  I know NYC is full of them.  Perhaps another destination.
