This picture and caption are taken from today's NY Times online (link). It is an article about Straight Street, Damascus, and the effects of the Syrian war. It is about ending multiculturalism and diversity. Since reading a book by a drunk, I read the news from the Middle East in a different way. Today's assignment (for me) is to read more about Sunnis who make up the majority population of Islam.
I just want to know whose side I might be on.
