I read an article in CNN online the other day that told people how to be interesting. I feel the need for some advice this morning. Here it is:
1) Don't be boring.
2) Be a good listener.
3) Talk about the other person's interests.
4) Have three good stories.
5) Don't forget charisma.
6) Be somewhere interesting.
7) Live an interesting life.
There was nothing about drinking and watching television in the list. Whining doesn't count as a "good story" I guess. I need to start working on this, I think. Perhaps #1 would be a good place to start. Man. Why didn't I think of that?
