I just did a quick Google search on it and #1 on the hit list was the internationally famous Carlini Institute for Therapy, Research, and Transpersonal Education. The influence of solar flares, they inform, is not only physical. It is emotional and psychological. Heather Carlini reports that she has even been hearing about other conditions. That's what makes them such a cracker-jack institution. They listen, something that is often stupidly lacking in scientist who work solely on the basis of evidence. Not Heather. She's taken the lead on this thing and way ahead of the pack, but there are others like the scientists over at"The Mind Unleashed" that are not far behind. And my friends. . . well, they are certainly keeping up.
O.K. I'm being a dick about this. Actually, I'm sure there are physical affects from the flares that cause psychological changes as well. I shouldn't say "sure," as I have not looked for any real research on this. I believe it highly possible, though, and worthy of study. My friend Q has reported feeling some of the effects of this on his heart which is one of the symptoms the naturalists suggest. It is not beyond my ken. I have, myself, been very, very sick and puny besides which is what led my friends to their diagnosis.
The best thing to do is put tin foil in your hat, I think.
I need to quit that. I am making fun of my own "belief" in the possibility of it, really, but it is better to let others take the heat. Is there anyone out there, really who doubts that there is likely some effect from such cosmic activities? I just think we need to be careful about distinguishing between astrology and astronomy, alchemy and chemistry.
We are frail creatures, though, and the cosmos cares for us not a wit. That is scientifically proven.
I'd like to see a study about the correlation between people who believe in Global Warming and people who believe that solar flares are the cause of many bad things. I would like to see, too, if people can distinguish the difference between fact and speculation.
I do believe that the solar flares are affecting me, though.
If you are looking for me, I'll be the fellow with the tin foil in his hat.
