Got up and realized I needed to wash the windows before the shutters are installed. It takes longer than I imagine and I am very, very bad at it. Back hurts horribly the entire time. In the middle of cleaning the panes of the bay window, I quit to go meet the printer repairman at the studio. He is quite taken by the hanging photos, perhaps not for their artistic value. We chat and I give him the keys. He says it will take him at least an hour. Come home and pull the sheets and covers up on the bed and begin to pick up clothing as the shutter company will be in there. Shit. Things are a mess. Go back to washing windows and waiting for the a.c. guys to call.
And suddenly, the shutter company is here a half hour early. Fuck me. I don't even get to tell you about the other disasters that have occurred. This promises to be an expensive day.
