Nothing to Express

When I was married, early on when my wife was still in love with me, she used to say I was too open with people and needn't tell them too much.  People were mean, she'd say, and they will use what you tell them against you.  Other people, she said, were more guarded or were outright liars.  People didn't tell others the truth.  They crafted the person they wished themselves to be.

People love to tell others about their grief and victimhood, I have noticed.  That is all that wanker at CNN is doing now.   He loves wallowing in other people's grief--and his own.  It reminds me of the old tv show "Queen for a Day."  With Jack Bailey.

Maybe her words resonated with me, though.  You can never know if what I am telling you is made up or fiction.  But it is writing which no matter how hard you try has always some creative element.

I slept ten and a half hours last night.  I think I slept.  But I woke to a knocking at the bedroom door.  I guess my mother got worried.  It was past time for me to put out her morning pills.  Now, I really need to do my chores.  They are aplenty.

When I took my mother to the dentist yesterday, I heard this song, but I couldn't remember the name.  I tried to get Siri to identify it, but there was too much noise.  When I got home, I used AI.  A popular song in the 1960s USA sung in Japanese.

I think AI may destroy our ability to recall things on our own.  That is a real danger.

Google Chrome updated, and it is whacked.  It took three attempts to load today's picture.  I've tried three times to load the song without luck.  I will leave the link instead.
