I meant to take pictures yesterday. I didn't. I am surprised to find, however, that there are still people who do. I went on the Polanoid site today (link) and saw that it was so. There is new instant film all about and people are using it. I used to be quite the instant film artist, but I haven't done that for a long time. Perhaps today I shall begin again. I went to an Urban Outfitters yesterday and saw many new instant film cameras. I wasn't enamored with any of them, but perhaps I should be. I need to experiment again. This seems the easiest way.
I am almost finished with the Arbus biography. I looked through a book of her images yesterday, and then I went to the grocery store. After reading the bio and looking at the pictures, everyone looked like an Arbus photograph.
The only thing that interested her was making those pictures. It is what kept her going. It is also what consumed her. At least that is what the bio reports.
What else is there in life, though?
I will try to make a picture today.
