Shortest day. Winter Solstice. I've written about it so many times before. I like these transcendental recurring moments. Ritual.
They seem to be coming about more quickly, though.
I can't quite get into the Christmas spirit. We've watched a few movies, "Elf" and "Bad Santa," but last night we watched "Joker." Now there was a real downer.
I still have to buy presents. I hate buying presents. It is not because I am a Grinch; I'm just not good at it.
It is dark and it is Winter and Christmas is just about here. It's time to have those drinks with friends.
